Micro Tuff

Micro Tuff is a long-chain, highly cross-linked polymer, with an organic penetrating agent that is sold in bar form.

Approved Micro Tuff™ Applicator in Erie, PA

Erie Hard Chrome is an approved Micro Tuff™ applicator and provides specialty Micro Tuff impregnation services for mold coating and surface finishing. Micro Tuff is used to impregnate metallic substrates and coatings for surface finishing, thereby, improving surface performance.

Micro Tuff impregnation completely seals off the substrate and imparts time release lubricity to the overall surface. It is impregnated into the microcrystal structure of the metal, providing a homogeneous and dense alloy of a bonded polymer.
